Our Skill Enhancement Programmes are aimed at strengthening the concepts and skills of Swayam members and other NGO workers and social activists.

We conduct and organise training programmes for non-governmental organisations working on women’s rights and other social issues, in Kolkata, rural and urban areas of West Bengal and in other states. We also provide resource persons to facilitate programmes organised by other organisations in the development sector.

At the same time we organise skill enhancement training for our staff and facilitate their participation in trainings and seminars conducted by other organisations. Some of the issues covered in such trainings are gender and development, advocacy, health & reproductive rights, organisational development & management, communication skills, handling technology, etc.
